Pre-School Fee Relief in Long Day Care
Commencing at the start of 2023, the NSW Government has announced a fantastic initiative to increase the affordability of pre-schoolers in Long Day Care Centres. Norfolk Kids is proud to offer and support this fee relief package to our local community, along with the delivery of our fantastic pre-school program. This is a great way to increase the accessibility of children into pre-school education, furthering their learning and ensuring they are ready for what lies ahead!
What Does This Mean?
Pre-School Fee Relief is available for children attending long day care services, just like Norfolk Kids. If your child turns 4 years old on or before 31 July 2023 you will receive up to $2,110 in fee relief over the course of the year. This fee will be passed onto families as a weekly reduction to your gap fee (after the Child Care Subsidy has been applied) and will be shown in your regular statements. For Norfolk Kids Pre-Schoolers, this means we will apply $42.20 weekly fee relief as we are open for 50 weeks of the year!
This fee relief is in addition to and will not impact on your Child Care Subsidy payments provided by the Australian Government. This fee relief is not means tested.
How Do I Access the Pre-School Fee Relief?
After you enrol, we will send you a declaration form to complete. Following its return we will apply $42.20 fee relief to each invoice you receive for the remainder of the year!
Families are only able to receive fee relief from one centre at any one time.
